At first light you remember Bob "Sketch" Carlson as the one with the shades and easy going persona. Additional insight to this man's creative career will show that he has tremendous talent.

Bob, caught doodling in class by his grade school instructor was immediately nicknamed "Sketch". He has worn that moniker to this day. The most visable display of his art these days appear as steel tattoos on many of the custom cars throughout our Southern California area. His pinstriping, whether it be on a bike or rod, has a distinctive signature of it's own.

Many of us are very familiar with the Southside Axle Dragger logo...yes, Sketch, an Axle Dragger member, designed it. You can bet that he has enhanced the many cars he has owned over the years, whether it be a 55' Chevy, Model A coupe or 49' Merc to mention a few.
